Lucknow, July 5 : Enthused by the developments in Maharashtra, BJP allies in Uttar Pradesh are predicting a possible split in the opposition parties and their alliances.
"My stand is clear. How does it matter what they (Athawale and Rajbhar) say?," Chaudhary said while addressing the media. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale made a statement after NCP leader Ajit Pawar split the party and joined the Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis-led government in Maharashtra. Athawale said that a Maharashtra-like situation could erupt in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, and there is a possibility that Jayant Chaudhary can join NDA as he is currently upset with Akhilesh Yadav and did not attend the Patna opposition meeting.
