Prayagraj, Dec 8 (TIWN) Devotees at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj in 2025 may find a ropeway over the Sangam.
Among these, the CM has approved construction of a ropeway to connect Sangam with Arail and Jhunsi. Work for this ambitious project, which was floated in 2019 Kumbh as well, would begin next year. In the meeting, the route for the ropeway was also decided which would be Arail-Sangam-Ulta Qila (towards Jhunsi side). Besides, a green signal was also given to build a museum on the Curzon bridge. Its work would also start from next year after completing the formalities. Before Kumbh 2019, a huge statue of Bhardwaj Muni was installed at the Balson crossing of the city. Now, before 2025, a plan to redevelop the entire Bhardwaj Ashram has been given the nod by the CM. “Altogether, 25 departments associated with carrying out projects for the mega religious event presented proposals worth Rs 7,800 crore,” said Mela Adhikari, Prayagraj Mela Authority, Vijay Kiran Anand.
