AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): On Wednesday, Tripura High Court has directed the Police to provide security to a family who was attacked on 31st December, 2021.
Advocate Bhaskar Debbarma on behalf of the petitioner had placed the complaints before the Court.
Reportedly, on 31st December 2021, miscreants had attacked Joydwip Bhattacharya's house in Ramnagar. No help was received from police as later, in the presence of police, the family was attacked again.
Joydwip Bhattacharya could not lodge a complaint when he went to the police station.
The MLA of the area allegedly was behind the deadly attack.
Then Joydwip Bhattachariya filed a case in the High Court. The High Court has asked Additional SP to appear in person and accordingly additional SP was present during the hearing.
Additional SP has been instructed by the Court to provide security so Joydeep Bhattacharya. The family has remained homeless since the attack incident.
