AGARTALA, Aug 23 : The Department of Computer Scicnce and Engincering, NIT Agartala is organizing a five day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 23 Aug to 27h Aug. 202lon Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency. This FDP is conducting under the aegis of AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Programme. The purpose of the FDP is to provide innovative ideas and new information regarding Building Blocks of Blockchain and Applications along with security and privacy issues in Blockchain. In this context, Solving Financial Problems Using Blockchain-based Algorithms and Cryptocurrencies: Monetary freedom and ro-standardization will also be discussed in this FDP.

NIT Agartala was the Chief Patron and delivered the keynote address in the inaugural session on 23 Aug. 2021 Prof. Prasun Chakraborty, Dean (Alumni Affairs and Institutional Relations), NIT Agartala was the special Guest of this FDP. Universities and Industries will be delivering lectures on various topics of Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency during the FDP. The speakers will highlight the importance of Blockchain with various career opportunities in India and abroad.
Faculty Members of AICTE approved Institutions, Ph.D and PG scholars, Industry Bureaucrats and Technicians are participating in this FDP. In total there are 200 participants in this FDP. Dr. Mrinal Kanti Deb Barma, Associate Professor and Head, Computer Science and Engineering Department, NIT Agartala is the Coordinator of this FDP.
