Decomposed body of a woman recovered from Manuvalli Tea Garden in Kailasahar

AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Decomposed body of a 25-year-old woman was recovered from the forest of Manuvalley Tea Garden in Kailasahar.
The deceased has been identified as Hiramati Gaur, resident of Manuvalley Gram Panchayat, Ward No. 3. It is known she has been missing for the past 10 days but her husband, Nabadwip Naik and her parents did not file missing diary case.
Today while the garden workers went to the tea garden, they suddenly got the smell of a rotten body and on searching they found a rotten corpse lying under a tree in a deep forest. Immediately it was informed to Kailasahar PS.
On receiving the news a huge police force and TSR force led by SI Shivani Debbarma of Kailasahar Women's Police Station rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body. Initially, it was learned that Hiramati was mentally ill. Police have launched an investigation into the unusual death case. However, despite being missing for past ten days, the family did not lodge any complaint, raising suspicions about the death of Hiramoti Gaur.
