AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): In the state capital city, Agartala everyday theft, robbery incidents have become common in broad daylight raising questions on the administrative measures to curb crimes in the city.
In such a daring theft incident burglars broke down the lock of a mobile shop located in the Bhagaban Thakur Chowmuhani area and took away mobile phones worth Rs. 20,000 approx.
The owner of the shop, Kartik Chandra Saha informed that this isn’t the first time, earlier the thieves tried to enter his shop but couldn’t break the door. He however collected the CCTV footage and produced them before the police.
Meanwhile, such daring theft incidents in a row have generated serious tension among common people across the state.
