AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): As the second wave of Covid-19 surges in India, several states have imposed a strict lockdown. Similarly, Covid-19 positive cases including death cases are also increasing rapidly. The impact of increasing COVID-19 positive cases has been seen in minor businessmen, which leads to huge losses for traders.
Talking to Battala Bazar traders it was known that due to COVID-19 pandemic situation business is getting worse as their trade is going through severe losses ahead of Eid. It was said due to the pandemic situation Muslims customers available are very less in the markets, which leads to losses, ahead of Eid.
This year and previous year businessmen went through massive losses due to the occurrence of COVID-19 situation, as compared to other years, said Battala’s businessmen.
