Polling underway for 2 Legislative Council seats in T'gana

Hyderabad, March 14 (TIWN) Polling is underway on Sunday in two graduates' constituencies of Telangana Legislative Council.
State Chief Electoral Officer Shashank Goel, 8.06 per cent voters cast their votes in the first two hours in Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar constituency while the turnout in the other constituency was 8.11 per cent. The official said the polling was underway in smooth and peaceful manner in the two constituencies spread over 21 districts. The polling will continue till 4 p.m. while counting of votes will be taken up on March 17. The Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements for free and fair polling which is being held through ballot papers.
