Gurugram, Jan 9 (TIWN) A total of 11 crows have been found dead in two consecutive days in three locations in Gurugram giving rise to bird flu fears in the district, officials said on Saturday.
Samples have been taken, and sent to Jalandhar. According to the Wildlife Department, no case of bird flu has been reported in the district yet, but a caution has been sounded and the health department is on alert. "We so far have no confirmed instance of flu and people should abstain from undue panic. It's people working in poultry farms who need to be cautious. We are taking all precautions", said a zonal wildlife officer RP Dangi.
