Srinagar, Aug 14 (TIWN) Two terror associates of proscribed Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit were arrested in Tral area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district, police said.
The police said besides narcotic substances, arms and ammunition including grenades and pistols were recovered from the arrested persons.
"Kupwara Police & Army got huge success by arresting 02 #NarcoTerror #associates. Seized 13.5 Kg #narcotic substance worth of approx Rs 65 Cr. Besides 02 #pistols & 04 #grenades also recovered. Case registered. Investigation in progress," the J&K police tweeted.
This is the second major haul of narcotics recovered in Kashmir in less than a month. Earlier police in North Kashmir''s Handwara recovered 21 KG Heroine worth Rs 100 crore and Rs 1.34 crore currency from narco terror associates.
