7 die in Andhra Covid care centre fire

Vijayawada, Aug 9 (TIWN) In a shocking incident, seven persons were killed in a fire that broke out at a paid Covid Care Centre run from a hotel by a private hospital here early Sunday morning, officials said.
This comes close on the heels of a similar fire accident in Gujarat in a Covid care centre that claimed at least eight lives last week. According to the preliminary reports, there were over 30 Covid-19 persons being treated at the centre by employing a dozen medical personnel when the fire accident broke at Swarna Palace Hotel at around 5 am on Sunday.
