AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): The people need to stay healthy and strong to fight the COVID19 epidemic. And, to stay fit, there is a need to practice Yoga on regular basis.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has said this on the occasion of International Yoga Day on Sunday. Earlier in the morning, the Chief Minister along with his family practiced Yoga at his official residence.
Meanwhile, an appeal of the Chief Minister for practicing Yoga at their homes to mark the International Yoga Day has received massive response.
Responding to the call of the Chief Minister, thousands of people including the youngsters have practiced Yoga and also shared their photos on social media by using the hashtag #TripuraPracticesYoga.
Importantly, the Chief Minister has also replied to a many people on his social media handle and appreciated their efforts. He also stressed on including Yoga in their daily routine.
Addressing the people, the Chief Minister has made an appeal so that every person practices Yoga regularly to stay fit.
