AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): Tripura's Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath's previous promises failed to charm public, as his much hyped 14,000 vacant posts now resulted in abolition of posts.

The Education Ministry of Tripura, after closing 961 schools’ decision across the state now have come out with another shock, as the department has decided to terminate 3103 teaching posts.

Once in a speech Ratanlal Nath said, "I am ready with 14,000 posts to give jobs, but no one is there to take." Ironically Tripura topped in unemployment rate among the other states of India and TET qualified youths left jobless

Tripura’s unemployment rate has been always high but before assembly election the BJP had promised to fill up 50 thousand vacant posts in first year and 7 lakhs within three years.

Instead of doing so, they are closing hundreds of schools across the states, terminating posts now and then, decreasing the chances of getting jobs for unemployed youths.
