AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has issued a letter to BSF IG to provide details of COVID19 cases among BSF Jawans, Families at the 138 unit.

In a letter written to the IG of BSF, Principal Secretary to the Govt of Tripura Barun Kumar Sahu has written, “I am directed to state that some positive cases of COVID19 have been found with the persons of BSF 138 Bn and their family members. I would therefor request you to kindly inquire into the matter and furnish the following information….”

The information was sought for : 1) The origin of the cases, 2) Steps taken by BSF authorities to further prevent spread of Corona virus to general public.

The information was asked to send to the Home Dept immediately.
