New Delhi, Dec 11 (TIWN) Former Union Minister P. Chidambaram, who walked out of Tihar Jail last week, resumed his legal practice on Wednesday, as he appeared in the Supreme Court in a domestic violence case.
In an unprecedented move, four Congress senior legal leaders who were in consultant with P. Chidambaram visited the Supreme Court and elaborating on the same, Congress' Kapil Sibal told Republic TV that they requested the Chief Justice to put a stay on the order. Kapil Sibal said, "The order is passed at 3:20 PM, we don't have the copy of the order. We requested the Judge that for the last 7 months the Judge has not passed the order. We went to the Court and requested him to grant a stay (on the order) because he had been protected for 15 months."
