Over 30 dead in Delhi fire

New Delhi, Dec 8 (TIWN) More than 30 people were killed and over a dozen others injured on Sunday in a major blaze in Delhi's Rani Jhansi Road market, the national capital's Fire Service Department said.
Delhi Police has confirmed the huge death toll in the early morning fire in Delhi. Over 56 people have been injured in the fire, according to the last figure. Speaking to India Today TV, fire department officials said they received a call in the morning about a fire and had no information about people trapped in the burning building, which caused delay in the rescue operations.
