Congress wants voting time at Ernakulam till 8 p.m.

Kochi, Oct 21 (TIWN) The Congress on Monday officially asked the district returning officer of Kochi to order for the official voting time at the Ernakulam assembly constituency to be extended till 8 p.m.
While special arrangements have been made to help differently abled persons to vote, webcasting facilities have been set up at 15 booths as part of security arrangements. The polling officials have been given two rounds of training to ensure the smooth conduct of the polling process, which will begin at 7 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. The preparations for the bypoll, including security arrangements for the day, have been evaluated under the supervision of returning officer S. Shahjahan.
