First woman military diplomat in Indian mission abroad

New Delhi, Sep 17 (TIWN) Wing Commander Anjali Singh has become the first female officer from any of the armed forces of India to be posted as a military diplomat in an Indian mission abroad.
Singh has joined the Indian Embassy in Russia as the Deputy Air Attache, the mission said in a tweet. Singh, who is trained on MiG-29 fighter aircraft, joined her new assignment on September 10.
