Tripura CM to donate his 6 months salary for providing dustbins in the village markets

AGARTALA, 13 Sep 13 (TIWN): Chief minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb warned not to involve in any kind of corruption after inaugurating the programme of One-Day Seminar/Training On Responsibility, Power and Function of 3 Tier Panchayat at Rabindra Bhawan, Agartala. While addressing the programme Shri Deb said that the primary aim is his responsibility towards the people. He stressed upon being responsible, selflessness and to maintain integrity. Sri Deb said being elected is a easy task but performing a dutiful responsibility is a huge big task and this has to be done by all of us.

He pointed the previous government who could not bring welfare to the villages in the last 25 years. He requested all the elected members to take our honourable PM as a role model and move on towards the development of their particular areas. He asked not take advice of any previous member who will misguide us and take us to an immoral way of doing work. They will only lead to corruption.
 
CM announced to donate his  6 months salary for providing dustbins in the village markets. He also announced the increased monthly allowances for village heads to give them their deserved value and to avoid them from involving in corruption. And he announced about "Seva Saptah" campaign to be celebrated for a week in honor of PM Modi. Monthly allowances have been increased by the government as follows:
• Zila Parishad President monthly allowance increased from Rs.5,000  to Rs15,000. 
• Zila Parishad Vive-President allowance increased from Rs.4,000  to Rs.12,000.
• Panchayet Samiti Chairman allowance increased from Rs.3,250  to Rs.10,000.
• Panchayet Samiti Vice-Chairman allowance increased from  Rs.2,750  to Rs.7,000
• BAC Chairman allowance increased from Rs.3,250  to Rs.10,000
• BAC Vice-chairman  allowance increased from Rs.2,750  to Rs.7,000.
• Village committee chairman allowance increased from Rs.1,250  to 5,000.
• Village committee vice chairman allowance increased from Rs.1,000 to Rs.4,000.
• Gram Panchayet Pradhan allowance increased from Rs.1,250 to Rs.5,000.
• Gram Panchayet Upapradhan allowance increased from Rs.1,000 to Rs.4,000.
• For  taking  part in Zila parishad members & standing committee’s every meeting allowance increased from Rs.105 to Rs.200.
• For taking part in Pachayet Samiti member& standing committee member’s meeting allowance increased from Rs.105 to Rs.200.
• For taking part in meeting of other members other than Pradhan, Upapradhan allowance increased from Rs.100 to Rs.150.
• For taking part in meeting of other members other than chairperson, Vice chairperson allowance increased from Rs.100 to Rs.150.
• AMC Mayor allowance increased from Rs.5000 to Rs.15,000.
• AMC Deputy Mayor allowance increased from Rs.4000 to Rs.12,000.
• Pur Parishad Chairperson allowance increased from Rs.3,000 to Rs.10,000.
• Pur Parishad Vice Chairperson allowance increased from Rs. 2,500 to Rs.7,000.
• Nagar Panchayet Chairperson allowance increased from Rs.2,800 to Rs.8,000.
• Nagar Panchayet Vice Chairperson allowance increased from Rs.2,300 to Rs.6,000.
• For  taking  part in urban, local body meetings AMC allowance increased from Rs.50 to Rs.500, Pur Parishad allowance increased from Rs.50 to Rs.400,nagar panchayet allowance increased from Rs.50 to Rs.250.
• For  taking  part in mayor in council chairperson,pur parishad and nagar panchayet  in  council meeting ,earliear there were no allowances but now it has been made to Rs.500, Rs.400 and Rs.250 respectively.
• Standing committee siting fee for pur nigam, pur parishad and nagar panchayet there were no allowances but now it has been made to Rs.500, Rs.400 and Rs.250 respectively.
• For giving honor to elected candidates and for sitting fees, yearly amount was Rs.15,28,800 which has been increased to Rs.68,56,000; additional expenditure Rs.49,27,200 for urban body.
Tripura will soon get more air connectivity to connect all the capital cities of the North Eastern states. He said to become a tourist hub the state should be free for violence against women which is prior. If this is taken care tempura will be the best tourist hub in coming future. He laid stress on the vital topic "corruption ",which he is not going to tolerate in any part of corner of the state. The corruption and corrupted community will not be expected and let to prosper in the state. 
He urged the public representatives to give up corruption if involved. 
He said the Panchayat Secretary now can directly communicate with the Principal Secretary about any mishappening of his concerned area and resolve it immediately within no time.
At the end of the programme Chief minister made everyone take an oath not to involve in any corruption and help make drug-free, malnutrition-free, women empowered  ‘Sarvashrestha’ Tripura.
Apart from Chief Minister, Chief secretary, Secretary RD(Panchayet dept) and others were present.
