‘Atleast 6 persons didn’t get treatment in Tripura Govt hospitals on Thursday’, alleged Congress

AGARTALA, Sep 13 (TIWN): Congress leader Subal Bhowmik told media today everyday people are not getting treatment, unable to do tests as Govt snatched free medical service.

Total 6 persons did not get health service in hospitals, informed Subal Bhowmik to media today.

The Congress leader has demanded total restoration of free-medical-service in Tripura Govt hospitals.

He called the Govt as “egoistic” Govt unable to withdraw a single decision.

Bhowmik address, “Our movement is just started. We will see its end”.

On September 6 a Govt notification scrapped all Free Medical Services in Tripura led statewide protests, although Govt later  denied the charge and clarified that the whole notification was leaked which was never implemented. It was just a draft with few typing errors.

Later it was announced that APL families will give fees, not BPLs. Opposition parties demanded total scrapping of the notification.
