Agartala, 27 Aug (TIWN): Chief Minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday addressed on 14th Foundation Day Programme of Tripura Medical College at Agartala. In the beginning of his speech he said, ‘India is self-sufficient, India has man power where 65% is youth, also most of the Microsoft employees are Indians. We are not even behind in medical field’.
Government is looking upon this matter, that when tourists visit the state, they should be able to receive full body check-ups service. Coming next to the security problem and verbal abuses on doctors and clashes often seen between the patients and the doctors, he asked the doctors to be bigger minded as they are in a help sector. Robot cannot be human but if human turns into a robot ,the outcome will not be good. Doctors are praised like Gods as they save lives. He urged to make hospital properly arranged and not let hooliganism, not to fear or scare others.
‘I don’t fear anyone because i do not do wrong things, if I will do evil did then I will have something to fear even if I have securities’,expressed Shri Deb. Shri Deb urged everyone to be righteous and to fear nothing. He also asked medical colleges and hospitals to have proper security and to form certain rules about visiting the patients and the staffs to do their service diligently. He also asked the hostel wardens to be attentive towards hostellers and to take proper care.
‘Tripura is developing. Government is trying to increase tax revenue and has been successful in collecting revenue to 26% which was before 9.8%’, claimed Shri Deb. Concluding his speech he warned again those who will work against the nation and the society, they will not be spared at any cost.
TMC chairman Dr. Atul Debbarma, Officials, faculties and students of the college were present on the Foundation Day Programme.
