Ayodhya, June 7 (TIWN) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ayodhya on Friday to unveil a seven-foot tall statue of Lord Ram at the Shodh Sansthan museum.

Yogi Adityanath is likely to unveil the Lord Ram statue on June 7 and it maybe followed by a new postal stamp as well.  The wooden Lord Ram statue is influenced by the Karnataka's sculpture art and was built in Karnatak. The statue was purchased from Kaveri Karnataka State Art and Craft Emporium.  Ayodhya Research Institute is going to set up the 7-ft-tall rare wooden statue of Lord Ram.  The Lord Ram statue is worth Rs 35 lakh.

This statue was honoured by the President in 2017.  The statue will be the centre of attraction in the Ayodhya Research Institute. The statue will be the biggest and most beautiful artwork in the institute.  On the other hand, there are sants in Ayodhya, associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who are of the opinion that people are not looking forward to idols like this but want the Ram Mandir itself.

They said that when Amit Shah had come to visit Ayodhya, he announced that if the BJP wins more than 300 seats there will be no delay in the Ram temple construction, but now they have won and the issue still remains hanging.  Yogi Adityanath will also kick-off his Ayodhya tour from June 7 and the UP CM will also participate in the birthday celebrations of Mahant Nritya Gopad Das.
