June 13 : These days, two piece sets don't have to denote suiting, though we can't deny that masculine tailoring definitely has a time and place. In fact, two piece sets can come in a variety of fabrications and pairing (skirts! shorts! pants!) making them a great option for when you want your outfit to look fashionable, considered, and like you put in effort, but don't necessarily want to spend a ton of time making styling decisions. In fact, I use a good two piece set, whether linen, crochet, lace or otherwise, to make getting dressed easier during the warmer months. Then I can layer on the accessories, whether that be a trendy shoe, cool shell or glass jewelry, or a killer pair of sunglasses, and have myself a look. Pro tip: matching sets are your friend for travel! I lean on them heavily when I am going carryon only for work but need to be assured I look good at events.
