Mumbai, May 18 : Actress Urvashi Rautela was mistaken for Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai at the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival by the French paparazzi present there.

Urvashi Rautela, who is Bollywood’s youngest superstar, highest-paid actress, and most followed celebrity, has made a place in the hearts of the audience with her hard work and dedication. The actress never fails to grab the limelight with her scintillating looks and performances. The actress recently made headlines for her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. She graced the red carpet on the second day wearing an orange sequin ruffled gown by renowned designer Tarik Ediz. With her bright smile and alluring demeanour, Urvashi slayed the red carpet with elegance and confidence. However, upon calling Urvashi by Aish’s name, the French paparazzi and several spectators confused Rautela for Aishwarya Rai.

The same video went viral on social media and received mixed responses.   In the viral video that shared Aishwarya’s fan account, Urvashi could be seen confidently posing for the cameras on the red carpet. When a member of the audience shouted “Aishwarya,” Urvashi turned around and grinned as she kissed her supporters and the media. While Urvashi’s supporters criticised the French media for the error, some internet users ridiculed her for purportedly copying Aishwarya.
