TIWN
New York, Sep 30 (TIWN) Britney Spears is up, up and away after her father, Jamie Spears, was suspended as conservator of her estate in an L.A. court on Wednesday, as she posted a video of herself flying a plane for the very first time and writing that she's "on cloud 9."
Dozens of fans and supporters of what has become known as the #FreeBritney movement gathered outside the court, waving banners and changing 'Free Britney' and 'Jamie for jail'. Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, thanked the movement for its support, which he said had been 'instrumental'. He noted that while today's ruling was a 'substantial step toward [Britney's] freedom' there are still further allegations of Britney's mistreatment that are being investigated by state and federal authorities. Rosengart told TMZ that Britney should 'absolutely' sue her father if there is evidence that proves that Jamie misappropriated money.
