Dolly Parton, Robert Lopez among winners of Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Los Angeles, Sep 13 (TIWN) Country legend Dolly Parton won at the third and final installment of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which were held in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The country legend won as an executive producer of Netflix’s Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square, which was voted outstanding television movie. Parton has won nine Grammys and has received two Oscar nominations for best original song. She received her first Emmy nod back in 1978 for her supporting role on a 1978 Cher special, Cher…Special. The Creative Arts Emmys are the lead-up to the 73rd annual Emmy Awards, which will be presented on Sept. 19. Several other notable music names or programs also won Creative Arts Emmys this year.
