New Delhi, Aug 15 (TIWN) When Farhan Akhtar recently announced a collaboration with Kerala indie band 'Chai Met Toast' for his directorial 'Jee Le Zaara', it was a clear indication of independent musicians making their way to glory in Bollywood.
The musician also feels that access to world music has played a big role in the changes in Bollywood music. Earlier one had to go abroad to get a certain LP, but now it is all available on a mobile phone. “You automatically get influenced when you listen to all kinds of music beyond barriers. When you hear different sounds you also use those influences in your own music,” says Shankar.
