It won't be long until we next see Meghan Markle in public

London, May 27 (TIWN): Meghan Markle is currently on maternity leave following the birth of her adorable royal baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. We don't know exactly how long the new mum plans to take off from her royal duties, but all the Meghan fans out there will be pleased to hear we'll probably seeing her in public sooner than we think.
One of the biggest events in the royal calendar each year is Trooping the Colour, a military parade and RAF plane flyover in celebration of Queen Elizabeth's 'official' birthday (she gets two, remember, because she's the Queen). During the celebration, the royal family gather together on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch all the pomp and ceremony, and to wave at members of the public who have also come to watch.
It's been the location for various brilliant royal moments, including Prince Harry's famous tongue-out moment when he was three, and Savannah Phillips putting her hand over Prince George's mouth at last year's event.
Last year was the first year Meghan Markle appeared on the balcony for Trooping the Colour, less than a month after her wedding to Prince Harry. And it seems she may well feature in this year's ceremony too, on 8 June, despite still being in the early days with newborn Archie.
