Mumbai, May 20 (TIWN): Mom, which is directed by Ravi Udyawar, started its journey with a bang at the China box office on its first day. The last film of the veteran actress Sridevi, Mom, did very well with $ 1.64 million [Rs 11.47 crores] on its first day.

 The audience loved the film and gave a thumbs up which made the film perform well on the Saturday and Sunday with $ 2.22 million and $ 2.06 million respectively, bringing the first weekend collections to $ 5.96 million (Rs 41.81 crores).
