Mumbai, May 9 : Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja became each other's forever last year on May 08, 2018, and yesterday they celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Who would have thought that a story which started on social media would one day turn into a bond of seven lives? For quite some time, Sonam and Anand used to chat only on social media, and then they first met in London after her Prince Charming asked her out, and the rest became history. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja make for one of the most adorable couples in the Tinseltown, and they are an epitome of best couple in a long-distance marriage! When a girl gets married in India, her whole life changes as she is supposed to leave her parents' house and embrace a new family of her in-laws. Many a times, we have heard that this bahu and in-laws dynamic doesn't work amicably. However, nothing of that sort happened with Sonam. Sonam shares a friendly bond with Anand's parents.

Sonam and Anand wished each other a very happy first wedding anniversary yesterday with adorable posts on their Instagram handles. These two also shared many Instagram stories celebrating their first wedding anniversary. And one of Sonam's stories which caught our attention was how her in-laws celebrated their son and their bahu's first wedding anniversary. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her in-laws aren't any typical family. Sonam shares a very cordial relation with her mother-in-law. She had once told Deccan Chronicle, “They are Sindhis and are a very private business family. They are lovely people but I don’t want to discuss much. I am obsessed with my mother-in-law; I get along very well with her. As they are not from the film industry so let’s not talk much about them. I have been dating Anand for so long. I like saying that he is my husband but I am so used to calling him, my boyfriend. It’s fun being married.”
