Palm oil rally continues despite several measures to check price rise

New Delhi, Feb 10 (TIWN) Despite several attempts by the Centre to cool off prices, crude palm oil has maintained its strong rally from 2021 and has risen about 10-15 per cent in the current calendar year.
The most-active May contracts on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives exchange on Wednesday settled at 5,460 ringgits (Rs 97,655) per tonne. It was at around 4,950 ringgits at the end of December. In 2021, the palm oil prices rose around 25-30 per cent.
