New Delhi, Oct 28 (TIWN) Telecom major Bharti Airtel on Monday launched a new platform called Airtel IQ, marking the company's entry into an estimated $1 billion Indian cloud communications market.
Ajay Chitkara, director of Airtel Business told ET that the market is fragmented currently with only smaller players that are focusing on "bits and pieces" of this whole market pie. "We are the first and only telco to enter this market with scale. We are the only omni-channel communication platform which can solve problems at scale.”
The company said that it is developing enterprise products like Airtel IQ using its inhouse engineering strength. “We have 1500 digital talent within Airtel which is behind like products like Airtel IQ, Adarsh Nair, chief product officer at Airtel told ET.
