New Delhi, Oct 28 (TIWN) The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has approved 12,983 domestic flights for the winter schedule, 44 per cent lower than the number of domestic weekly flights during the last winter schedule.

The new schedule has been approved at 60 per cent of the capacity that airlines were flying in the pre-Covid period. During winter 2019-2020 domestic airlines had 23,307 weekly departures.
