Terror funding module busted in Kashmir, 3 arrested

Srinagar, Aug 13 (TIWN) The J&K Police on Wednesday busted a terror funding module from North Kashmir's Bandipore district, with the arrest of three persons, officials said.
Acting on intelligence inputs about LeT activating the module to finance terror activities in north Kashmir’s Bandipora and Kupwara districts, Bandipora Police arrested the trio — Irshad Ahmad Sheikh of Chittibandy Aragam, Mohammad Junaid Wani of Nageen Bagh Sopore, and Raj Mohammad Khan of Lolab Kupwara — and seized Rs 4 lakh cash, Rs 1 lakh in bank accounts and other incriminating material from their possession, police said in a statement.
