AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath’s statement on unemployment trend on Friday has itself exposed BJP’s major failure to fulfill the given promise to the unemployed youths of the state. It shows, apart from other promises like house-to-house jobs, missed call jobs, only in case of 50,000 vacant posts filling up, BJP has succeeded at 1.5% of that promise. Addressing media, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said, “3096 regular posts were created by our Govt. Total 684 posts filled up among them. Total 630 persons got regular jobs under die-in-harness. Online contractual jobs were given 3244 and via TET 1827 persons have gotten jobs under the Education Dept in last 2.2 yearsâ€.
If Ratanlal Nath’s statement is counted it means total regular jobs in last 2.2 years were only 3,141 persons whereas BJP before election assured to provide 50000 Govt jobs in 1 year.
Thus the percentage of BJP’s 50000 Govt jobs in 1 years is fulfilled (3,141 divided by 2.2 years is 1,427.72 jobs) not even 1.5%
But the Minister further claimed, Tripura’s unemployed youths’ numbers have drastically dropped from 7.5 lakhs to 1.90 lakhs.
