AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): BJP’s popularity is vanishing day by day, as it has not yet woken up from its slumber and it continued to be complacent. Citing a flashback it could be noticed that in 21 months BJP in Tripura could not establish any impact which can give it a positive outlook about the Govt till now.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi of BJP promised a job every household in Tripura, 50,000 jobs in 1 year, special economic zones for food processing, bamboo, textiles and so on, but the reality depicted a different picture. He said at an election rally that the unemployed youths of Tripura are striving for being employed, suffering from job droughts and coming into power the 1st step that the government is going to do is to supply jobs to the unemployed youths in the State.

Biplab Deb after becoming the “Accidental prime Minister” could not establish anything till date rather than destruction. Sometimes he discovered internet in the Mahabharata age, sometimes collected oxygen from ducks, sometimes brought himself a car worth Rs. 1.5 Crores, sometimes enjoyed flight through a helicopter with family, spending lots of money on own security, suspending police officers now and then, also asking the Govt. Employees to be paid DA only after development of Dairy industry. He always remained HIT in the headlines for his gaffe’s.

Not a single promise of the Vision document has been filled till date. But our beloved Tripura CM claims the state is on the right way of development. Tripura tops in the rate of unemployment, youths are directionless, moving door to door for income opportunities, workless situation has grasped the daily workers of the state, MGNREGA days are also not provided properly, businessman arte facing huge losses due to poor economic conditions prevailing all over. The prices of every day commodities are high, common man finds difficult to eat two times. Political clashes and angst are part of everyday affair. Increasing women related crimes and unnatural deaths are at its peak. But the administration remains a silent spectator.

The people of the state are on a dole, they raise question “Is it the actual Diamond Era”?
