Rs 60 lakh unaccounted cash seized in Kolkata, 1 held

Kolkata, March 19 (IANS) Kolkata Police on Monday seized unaccounted cash amounting to Rs 60 lakh and arrested one person in this connection, a senior officer said.
"Dinesh Lohia, 40, resident of city's Lake Town area, was arrested from central Kolkata's Central Avenue and B.B. Ganguly street crossing at around 3 p.m. on Monday. Rs 60 lakh in cash was seized from him," Joint Commissioner of Kolkata Police, Crime, Praveen Tripathi said.
"The accused could not render any satisfactory answer regarding the source of the money. A case has been started against him at Boubazar Police Station. Detailed enquiry in the case is going on," he added.
