BISHALGARH, Dec 21 (TIWN): A pathetic condition has gripped Agartala-Sabroom National Highway at Bishalgarh leading mass suffering from common goers.

However, this condition has been continued since decades, adding daily miseries to drivers, passengers and increasing accidents.

However, the road is now undergoing double-lane project work by a company known as KMC.

This KMC has taken contract of improvement/widening to two laning with paved shoulder of Agartala -Udaipur section from Km 6.800 to km 55.000 of NH-44.

But whenever PWD is asked about the road, they dump all blames upon the company and double lane project works under Central Govt. 

Recently red-soil have dumped over the road but it has paralyzed the whole transport system here over the National Highway.

Resentments have brewed among the locals.
