AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Fog, cold have gripped the Northeast state with morning temperature went beyond 18 degree Celsius. With the ongoing days, foggy atmosphere started to grip that makes visibility almost poor. Even from a distance from 10 metres nothing can be seen. This situation continues for the third day.
Apart from fog, low temperature too has started to mark its impact in Tripura. Since last few days’ minimum temperature is falling day by day.
Mostly during the winter season, life observed crippled across the state because of the chill and attendance seem to get poor in most schools and government offices. The streets wore a deserted look and business establishments were closed.
Generally, in Tripura winter starts from November. This year it has started from the month of December.
