AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar on Tuesday has claimed that in Longtorai Chamanu area CPI-M activist Sankhajoy Tripura was shot dead and out of four arrestees one is active BJP activist as well as surrendered ATTF member.

“Earlier we saw attacks upon churches, Babri mosque and various non-Hindu domains by BJP. But now in Tripura the same has started, which never was earlier felt”, said Dhar.

The CPI-M leader further blamed BJP for  attacking Hindu temples recently held in various places of the state.

Bijan Dhar was addressing at Melarmath party office to media and stressed upon various sensitive issues by directly accusing BJP behind such incidents.
