AGARATLA, Dec 12 (TIWN): 2 years extra leave has been announced for Tripura Govt women employees today by Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha in a press meet.

Earlier, the leave was for 6 months in maternity leave but today Bhanu Lal Saha has announced about the extra one and half years of leave. 

However later it was known that actually central govt had ordered about the leaves for women employees to every states.

Addressing the press meet, Saha said, "A working women apart from her basic leaves more 730 days i.e. 2 years extra will get". 

"The leave will be applicable till her child is 18 years. These leaves will be for rearing of child and taking care during her child during sickness", added Saha. 

However, only for 2 children it will be applicable.
