INPT to align with BJP

AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): INPT to go in alliance with BJP in the upcoming poll, in the meeting held among INPT members at Agartala press club it was decided.
However, in the meeting nothing was said directly about BJP but they said ‘anti-CPI-M’ parties.
During the meeting INPT also announced, the Election Commission has issued a new party symbol to the INPT for the upcoming election. Earlier, INPT had 2 leaves symbol, but this year the symbol was changed with wood-cutter (karat in Bengali). A meeting was held among the INPT leaders at the press club.
The Indigenous Nationalist Party of Twipra is a political party in the Indian state of Tripura. INPT is led by Bijoy Kumar Hrangkhawl.
