AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): BJP National spokesperson Sambit Patra has addressed BJP organized 'Freedom of Expression' workshop at Agartala.

The workshop was significant for the Northeast state with the constant journalist murders recently held in Tripura, which stanched 2 journalists' lives in last 2 months.

Tipura University Ex-Vice chancellor Dr Arunodoy Saha, Dr. Ashok Sinha also chaired the dais during the progarmme.

Before the workshop had begun 2 slain journalists were remembered : Santanu Bhaumik and Sudip Datta Bhaumik.

Sudip Datta Bhaumik who was working in Syandan Patrika was killed by TSR Jawans allegedly led by TSR 2nd Bn Commandant Tapan Debbarma, who was exposed into coruption by Sudip Datta Bhaumik.

Commandant Tapan Debbarma called the journalist Sudip Datta Bhaumik and allegedly killed him in 2 shots.

Sambit Patra, a spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party, has deeply condemned journalists' killing in Tripura.
