AGARTALA, Nov 24 (TIWN): At least 40000 ganja plants were destroyed by Police, Bishalgarh administration and BSF’s joint efforts.

The raid was done today led by SDM Nantu Ranjan Das, SDPO Prabir Das and BSF, Police high officials at Devipur area.

Across 41 hector area’s ganjas were damaged. SDM said that such raids  will be done more in coming days.

‘We will continue such drives. As per the sources, there are many such areas, where ganja plants are cultivating’, said SDM.
