AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Being located in Northeast region, there is a huge gap among both Tripura and Assam’s review incomes.
Whereas Assam’s income is 322 as per INR Billions, Tripura left with 47.24 INR Billions.
Tripura Govt, being ruled by Communist always demands subsidy, showing reason of a Northeaster state.
Not only this, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar consistently has been demanding the 90:10 centre-state fund sharing as a part of special care for Northeastern states.
Now with the tax revenues shown by the Assam Govt, question raises, if neighboring state Assam can raise its revenue income, why Tripura can not ?
