AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): A shocking update of Jiban Debnath's murder case has revealed that the family members of Jiban Debnath is yet unready to accept that the dead body was of Jiban Debnath as no DNA test was done with the recovered dead body.
BJP's parliamentary team has raised question on police's role as no DNA test was done with the postmortem. After 47 days the dead body was recovered, but how police was sure without DNA test that the body was of him?, such questions had also raised by the family members.
"The Parliamentary representatives said, " Jiban Debnath's family members wanted DNA test but it was not done. Same was with Supriya Mog , whose body was not even postmortemed".
Jiban Debnath was missing since Sep-20 from Khumlwng (on the same day of Santnau's murder) remained untraced by police, but on Nov 4 (after 47 days of missing incident) Jiban Debnath's dead body was recovered by Tripura Police from the river banks, after getting informed by secret sources Police had recovered his body which was kept inside the soil. Politics killed Jiban Debnath, but the innocent mother to suffer till her last breath. Even though Tripura Govt boosted about its Rs. 10 lakhs donation to Jiban Debnath's family but no Minister, neither the Chief Minister has met the family members for a single time.
5 questions raised doubt on Jiban Debnath's killing day :
1. How it was possible that after 47 days, the body remained in 70 % perfect shape inside the soil ?
2. After 47 days the soil must was covered with grasses, but it was plain.
3. Why police ended with 2 arrests ?
4. When exactly Jiban Debnath was killed ?
5. How police was informed about his dead body ?
