SONAMURA, Nov 3 (TIWN): Hindu Nagarik Samaj regardless men, women, children have come in massive protest at Sonamura after a Loknath idol was damaged at there.

Along with the idol, the whole Asram (temple) was damaged in various parts.  

This is not a first time incident that has taken place at there but earlier also at Dharmangar with Shiv idol it was done.

Some intellectual people at there, tried to note only one point, why such a barbaric incident has been done ahead of election ?

“Hindus, Muslims are living in harmony since decades at Sonamura. Political intrigues are more suspected than any religion”, said one local residing near Loknath temple.
