Santirbazar Nov 3, 2017 (TIWN): Two daily laborers got electrocuted today at Srikantabari , Kwaifung area under Debdaru out post of Jolaibari RD block.

According to OC Kamal Tripura , Nara Manik Tripura(20) and DurjayChoudhury Tripura (18) two local residents went to catch fish from Tuimuktui small stream using electric net directly connecting with electric base wires illegally which gone wrong and the incident took place.

On the other hand , local people alleged that in front of of electric administration illegal connections are used without any fear and electric department workers also not report anything as they get intoxicating elements from the miscreants as ransom which also denote that due to irresponsible behavior of electric department passively responsible for the devastating incident.

 However MLA Jashabir Tripura along with SDPO visited the location and responded as accident where a good number of educated people expressed their uncertainty over electricity department.
