AGARTALA, Oct 29 (TIWN): Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy raised question on the intentional stresses of the opposition to prove Demonetization as a failure, after a year of Demonetization.
"Demonetisation took place a year back. People were hugely inconvenienced,but bore it. Now what,all of a sudden? Will someone please clarify?", Tathagata Roy tweeted.
After demonetization, many people came under taxes and crores of black money was destroyed without utilization. In this condition, with the taxation on the incomes have turned heavy upon non-tax payers.
In this regard, Governor Tweeted, "But then, why howling ‘Demonetisation has failed’ only bcz all the money is back in the banks? They’ll have to account for it, won’t they?"
Noteworthy : From AMC drains at Agartala many demonetized notes overflown with rain water.
