AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): Tripura Transport Minister Manik Dey blasted Modi's Acche-Din even after Tripura received Rajdhan after 70 years of independence.

Tripura from 2016's 31st July since Tripura Sundai Train's inauguration has now received the 5th Express train. But Minister Manik Dey said, "What Acche Din ?? It has taken above one year to fulfill the demand of Rajdhani Express train".

"Rajdhani was CPI-M Govt's demand which even after promising by the former Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu it took above 1 year to reach here", said Minister.

TIWN asked him further, "It took 1 year but since 70 yrs Northeast state Tripura was deprived of BG connectivity. What about that ?"

"This is due to all the Central Govt's negligence towards Northeast region. But under Modi Govt price hike is hitting the public and Rajdhani's fares need to be cut", Dey added.
